Parent Notes:

  • May 15th is the Readers Theatre and Parent Appreciation dinner. Please don't forget to R.S.V.P. For more information go to the Saint Louis homepage.

  • Please make sure to check your students graded papers for corrections and parent signatures. Students have the opportunity to correct their work for a grade of up to 70. If students are not returning their corrections they will remain with low averages.

  • Weekly spelling words can be found on Spellingcity.com. There is a link on the side bar of my WIKI page. Just click on it and it will take you the sight. Once there click on find a list and then enter my name. Then click on my name and school and this will take you the page with the list title. Just click on the unit that we are on and the words will come up. Be sure to check the top of the list to make sure it is the correct grade level. I have both 4th and 5th listed.

  • Reading logs are due every Monday and a grade will be taken on them. Please remind your student to complete them and turn them in on time.

  • Students will have spelling homework every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Any work not completed in class will go home as homework.

  • Students who wish to participate in the AR reward party at the end of the 9 weeks must have a total of 20 points and cannot have lower than a 70 on any test. Their overall average must be an 80.
